There are a few changes that we have implemented to keep you and us safe and these are detailed below.
Please do not travel to us if you or anyone accompanying you has any of the symptoms of Coronavirus (fever, persistent cough, loss of taste or smell). Please do not travel to us if you are living or working from a current lockdown area.
There is no cancellation charge for cancelling even at the last minute.
Please remember to bring your face masks with you as it is mandatory to wear face coverings in shops in England from 24th July 2020.
Please advise us of your arrival time.
Hand sanitiser is available near the front door and should be used whenever you enter the building.
We will ask you to stay in the hall whilst we advise you of important check in information to ensure we can keep at a 2m distance from each other.
Your key to the room will be sanitised and placed in your room ready for you.
You are not required to wear a mask whilst at Wisteria House but ask you to remain 2m away from us. You are welcome to wear one if you prefer.
A welcome letter on the bed will explain how we are operating at the moment so that we are Covid-19 Secure.
The TV remote will be sanitised before your arrival and placed in a sealed plastic bag. The hairdryer is sanitised before your arrival.
Any soft furnishings such as cushions and bed covers will be removed.
All bed linen and towels are washed with sanitiser and laundered as per Government guidelines.
We will leave a list of available items in your room in case you require tea bags, coffee etc. These are all available on request.
Dirty cups should be left out for us daily.
Please wash your hands on entering and leaving your bedroom. Antibacterial handwash is provided.
We regret we cannot clean your room daily. However, if you are staying with us for more than 4 nights you will be offered room cleaning, but the decision is up to you.
We will however provide you with a consumables order form and provide you with anything you require on a daily basis (toilet rolls, tea, coffee etc.)
We ask that you empty your own bin, placing sealed bags of rubbish outside your door for collection along with dirty cups before you go out for the day. You will find clean bin bags underneath the old one.
We will leave any requested items on the table in the breakfast room for you whilst you are out ready for you to collect on your return.
Where possible a minimum gap of 24 hours will be left before we clean a vacated bedroom between guests. Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including face mask, plastic apron and gloves will be used to clean a room and then disposed of. New cleaning cloths will be used for each room and then disposed of.
A menu of continental breakfast items will be available on a single use piece of paper in your room, for ordering the night before. Ordered continental breakfast items will be placed on a tray in the dining area at a pre-arranged time ready for you to collect, for consumption in your room. Please leave the tray with dirty crockery outside of your room before you go out for the day.
We have a 5 star food hygiene rating and will always adhere to the strictest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Please open all windows before leaving to enable ventilation. Where possible we will ask you to settle your bill by bank transfer before checking out. If you need to use the credit card machine it will be sanitised before your use. We regret we are unable to accept cash at this time.
Should you feel unwell during your stay with any Coronavirus symptoms then you must notify us immediately. Consistent with Government guidelines, you will be asked to register using our postcode for a test immediately and where possible check out immediately in order to self-isolate at your home address whilst you await your results.
All deliveries are sanitised on arrival. We limit our contact outside of Wisteria House and with non-guests, always remaining at least a 1m distance.
Should we find Coronavirus at Wisteria House, or one of us are tested positive or need to isolate, we may need to cancel your booking at short notice.
Booking Terms: We require your credit/debit card details as security on the reservation.
Cancellations: If less than 7 days notice is given the first night of the cancellation is charged in full. We may make charges for each remaining night if we are unable to re-sell your room. With this in mind we always recommend you have adequate Holiday Insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
Arrival and Departure: We welcome guests between 4pm - 6pm. If you wish to arrive earlier or later, alternative times can be arranged if you telephone or e-mail us a couple of days before arrival. We request guests to vacate their room by 10am on the day of departure.
Parking: There is off-road car parking available.
Non-smoking: All rooms at Wisteria House are non-smoking.
Pets: Unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets.
